American Garage Door

Great experience with Andrew at American Garage Door. The spring on our door broke on Wednesday, and when we called that morning, they answered and scheduled our repair for a day convenient to us. We were offered a time same-day. Quick and friendly service. Andrew explained how to spray WD-40 on the springs and rollers twice a year going forward. We'll definitely use them in the future. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Jim was our neighbor and helped us a lot when we had a question about the springs on our overhead after we moved in. He didnt just service the door, he spent time to teach us the right way to diagnose and fix the issue. If I had a garage door these days id still work with them. Cheers!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RUDE CALL DEPARTMENT!! Appointment was canceled 20 min prior to their “late arrival” and rescheduled for next day, the technician showed up and said he was sending a specialist allegedly. No calls back and nobody showed up. When I called to get an answer the rep was rude and disregarded any of my issues Highly suggest avoiding these people unless you want a headache.

Jim and his guys are great! They installed a huge beautiful new door on my barn. They were very responsive and I couldn’t be happier.

I got hosed but I take responsibility for my bad decision but hope you won’t do what I did. If you have a belt break on your garage door don’t call American Garage Door. I told them what I needed …. a new belt. What I got was a new Chamberlain 1/2 hp garage opener (cheap) for $750 plus said I needed new springs total$1,200 plus $30 fee for using a credit card. Total cost $1,230. Total cost for a much better opener at Lowe’s is $219 which is wi-fi and comes with a garage key paid and two remotes including $179 for installation for a total $421. My question is how does this company get 5 stars? Learn from my mistake.
