Extremely happy to have found Greg and his team for window panels and outside door replacements, and hopefully more in the future! We have a condo apartment in Wicker Park that had broken seals in all the window double panel glass and a balcony door that was not properly sealed anymore so rain and wind sipped into the apartment every winter. I was not sure how to look for a contractor that I could trust and after contacting American Windows and doors through their website, Greg immediately replied and we set up an appointment to check the problems I need solving before the winter. I was a little lost as to how to assess what needed to be done and when Greg came for the assessment, he immediately created trust and showed his expertise and professionalism. Greg and his team did it AGAIN! Please see my previous review on my window install. I needed a storm door, door and awning installed in back. We had extreme cold air leaks in winter and heat in summer. Today, during an 80 degree day, I had the back door open and only storm door closed and my AC maintained its temperature. They sealed everything very well! Also, Greg helped me pick out my doors and other parts needed for install. Greg came out and measured everything for us. I cannot stop raving about Greg and his team! He takes his time and does everything right. They do Beautiful work! Greg is a perfectionist when it comes to doors and windows! His labor prices are reasonable, and you will be very happy with the end result! Thanks again guys! I'll have you back soon to do front door!

Greg the owner was awesome. He made sure I understood what I wanted to do. The day of installation he was here along with an another very nice gentleman who did a wonderful job. I’m very happy with my decision and the work done. Great job!

Diane and I just had American windows and doors out to fix a window that had a broken seal. Greg was very professional in every aspect in our window repair. Greg was very friendly and easy to work with. He also was very knowledgeable about windows and how to repair them. American windows and doors were very reasonable in their pricing for their work.
