AmeriCoat Asphalt & Concrete

We purchased a new home in Pickerington and the driveway had not been cared for in a long time. I started to look around for affordable asphalt companies and most reviews were not great. I do not want to replace the driveway this year, just a minor facelift. I saw an AmeriCoat Asphalt sign at a neighbors house and another asphalt company sign at another neighbors house. The difference was noticeable. I stopped and spoke with the owner of the home with the AmeriCoat Asphalt sign and nothing but positive comments from them about this company. Office staff has always been nice to speak with. Little over a month ago, they came out to seal my driveway. I did all of the edging So that I could get a better seal on the ends. What Americoat had done, it started pealing within the next day. They came out a few weeks later to do a patchwork. What they did not repair, was still pealing. It appears they had used a watered-down seal. After several calls, they were going to come out and fix to my satisfaction. A person in the office, looked at my pictures and stated they would issue another coat. Even the workers that came out stated it should have another coat. Got several estimates, many from companies recommended on the NextDoor site. AmeriCoat was competitively priced, so I went for their 2-coat process and crack filling. They were very careful around plantings I have which edge the driveway, the bottom of our garage door, and at the riser to the walkway leading to our front door. It was an outstanding job‼️

AmeriCoat did a great job on my new driveway. I highly recommend them for any of your projects. Fast and friendly service. They can’t be beat.

It doesn't please me to leave a 1-star review for anybody but I have to CAUTION anybody against hiring AmeriCoat based on my experience with them this year... PROBLEM DESCRIPTION As you can see from the attached pictures, they literally destroyed the look of my ENTIRE driveway leaving microcracks all over it uniformly; those microcracks (I refer to them as alligator skin cracks) were NOT there prior to them applying the single layer of driveway seal I hired them for. To support my claim, you can check my neighbor's homes with the same type of black asphalt driveways, they do not have this issue. SIDE NOTE: They also splattered a bunch of tar in front of my mailbox which stained the concrete with a bunch of black splotches ATTEMPTED SOLUTION I will give them credit where credit is due,
