I ordered Marmoleum flooring for a kitchen renovation from Amicus Green. Jason worked with me to help narrow my choices (so many patterns!) and also helped me order corresponding trim pieces that perfectly matched the design I ended up going with. While I was already committed to supporting local businesses as part of this project, I would also note that Amicus Green was less expensive than ordering from a supplier I had found online - the cost per square foot was slightly lower and there was no additional shipping charge.

Amicus Green Building has helped us source all of our materials for the third time (since 2008). Working with Jason is usually the only thing in a renovation that goes perfectly. Some material costs are bit higher than they would be from a traditional store, but in many cases they are cheaper and better quality. The selection at Amicus is outstanding and Jason knows everything about every material. That’s really invaluable when you’re spending the money on good sized project. It’s true, you might have to be flexible with the materials —Jason sometimes can’t guarantee that the exact tile or flooring you saw in a magazine is available.
