Fabio is awesome. I had a very old family heirloom table that needed repair. He is so knowledgeable and more than willing to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for his work. Craftsmanship like his are rare. He repaired my table quickly and at a very reasonable price. When I asked about what else I might do to restore the table to its original beauty, he shared detailed advice without any pressure to have it done. This was such a rare and pleasurable experience, I am wishing I had more furniture that required his expertise. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Fabio brings knowledge and an artistic flair from the Old Italy where he learned his craft from his father. My wife and I purchased a vintage French Provincial bedroom set. The armoire had some blemishes and we asked Fabio if he could restore the piece without making it look like it had been restored. Despite being inundated with other work, he accepted our piece and quoted us a fair price. He called after a couple of weeks and told us he did some additional repairs by hand because it was a beautiful piece. Fabio is an exceptionally knowledgeable and expert craftsman. When I brought him a badly damaged antique Windsor chair he examined it and carefully explained what needed to be done and how he could do the repairs. Fabio obviously enjoys and takes pride in what he does - as is evidenced by his outstanding work. My chair repair is exceptional and I highly recommend him. He also is a very nice guy.

My wife and I inherited a lovely 250 year old English grandfather clock - it had not been serviced in years and wasn't working properly. In addition, the case (especially the bonnet) was in poor condition. Both the finish and the structure needed a lot of attention. The fixtures supporting the finials were broken and a number of trim pieces had broken off. The clock maker recommended that we take the case to Arte Lepre in Kensington. I contacted the owner, Fabio, who was simply fabulous. He repaired the supports and trim, and painstakingly stripped and refinished the case, using shellac for the final coating.
