Anthony & Sylvan Pools

Digging stared just 7 weeks ago!, and we are almost done, scheduling has been on time, and every of the contractors are the highest quality. My biggest fear with a big project is the lack of information, updates and timelines, but Matthew, our project manager, has been constant on visiting, explaining the next steps, and sending updates. Very happy with the results.

Matt did my pool opening earlier this summer and he just did my pool closing today. I have a complex opening and closing since I have a motorized over mount pool cover that I use during the pool season. Today I had my pool closing and Matt helped me with the motorized cover that was stuck. He was calm, patient, and helped me without asking. Matt is the best!!! I know opening and closing a pool with Anthony and Sylvan is more expensive than other companies, but I will stay loyal due to employees like Matt. He was so helpful and went above and beyond. I requested to have him do my opening and closing next year. With an employee like Matt, I will always go back!

Do not use them! I had my pool replastered just 2 years ago and the plaster is already cracking and falling apart. I tried to use the warrantee that was "guaranteed" only to get the run around for months. Eventually they finally sent out a the original subcontractor who did the work who barely even looked at my pool and immediately started making excuses about how the plaster cracking must be my fault for somehow. Anthony Sylvan offered to repair the cracks on the stairs since that is the worst part of the issues, but says they aren't responsible for repairing the larger issues. They won't even offer to work with me to mitigate the issue or discounted pricing or some compromise for replastering or repairing. That is, when I can even get them to respond. Run as fast as you can from Anthony & Sylvan Pools. You’re better off with a local contractor who actually stands behind their work — not one who blames the customer and hides behind lawyers and NDAs. Just four years after installation, my pool is a brittle, crumbling mess. The wall behind the tiles disintegrated, water leaks out and damaged the surrounding deck, and hundreds of tiles have fallen off (see photos/video). Anthony & Sylvan denied our warranty claim. It took hiring a lawyer and posting a public review just to get their attention — and even then, they pointed fingers at us. Multiple engineers confirmed it was due to poor materials and delamination— not the expansion joint and not anything we did. They just didn’t care. Our pool project was a great success. Anthony Sylvan Pool did a fantastic job. They worked with our design and ideas. Their staff was professional, attentive, responsive, and creative. Our project manager Patrick was with us through every step and came out frequently to check on the progress. They were great at going over the steps to maintaining our salt water pool. We had a terrific experience with this company and couldn't be happier with the final results. We thoroughly enjoyed our pool this summer and are sad to see the summer coming to an end.
