What a beautiful (but sad) place to visit. It is so peaceful outside while looking out over the farm fields, it is hard to imagine one of the bloodiest, highest- casualty battles took place here. The grounds are kept meticulous and the visitor center is very nice inside. You have to go in the artifact museum downstairs and the nice Theatre behind the Ranger's service counter, and watch the 30 minute movie. (warning: the movie is educational but sad). The staff in the gift shop are very nice and knowledgeable just like the Park Rangers. Bravo for an excellent job and a very nice visit!
