I love these people! The BEST place to get parts for your antique stove! They restored two of my stoves and did a BEAUTIFUL job! John and his crew really outdid themselves! Rechroming and white glove service! Anytime you need questions answered, Pepper, his secretary, is so pleasant, and has that sweet Southern hospitality, that you can not tell if your question is a dumb one. My jaw aches in a good way, that sometimes I have to call just to say "Hello!" I am THAT hooked! This place has now become my friends!

Absolutely wonderful people to deal with! I had to wait a little bit while they scrambled to relocate (through no fault of their own) but even so, they were wonderful and the quality of their work was amazing. I highly recommend John and his folks as people with excellent integrity and experience.

If you want a stove or fridge refurbished to it's original glory, try Antique Appliances in Clayton, GA. This family owned and operated business saved our 1936 pre-WWII stove from the junk pile. They did a beautiful job of restoring it to perfect working order. Take a look at the before and after photos, and you'll see what I mean. John Jowers and crew are great. Even if you don't have an appliance in need of rehab, if you're in the area, stop in to admire their fine craftsmanship.

Edit: Reached out to John one last time, and he agreed to fix all of the issues with the part. He did that, made sure it was how I wanted it, and refunded me for my shipping for the corrections. Updated to a 3 star. Original Review: If you're looking to have parts refinished, detailed correctly and actually inspected before being returned to you, look elsewhere. Had some parts that were to be chrome plated and lettering painted red, everything was discussed, the parts (and correct paint) were then sent to them. When the parts got back to me, one of them had major flaws in the chrome plating (in the form of a black spot the size of a quarter) and painting on one of the parts that was missed, supposedly they had been inspected and "looked great" before being shipped. A great place to work with. I have just one old fridge (1934 GE Monitor Top) and it needed a new gasket. I could have taken a cheaper route to replace it not knowing how to handle it, but then I found Antique Appliances.
