Avoid APACHE Automotive at all costs! This place should be called Gangster Automotive — because that’s exactly how they operate. Steve, the owner, is like a modern-day Robin Hood… except he doesn’t give to the poor — he just takes from his customers to enrich himself. He installs used, rusted parts in your vehicle and insists they’re brand new. And if that’s not bad enough, once your car is in his shop, you’re at his mercy. You have to pay just to get your vehicle back — even if the work was shady or incomplete. Want your money back? Get ready for a court battle. And good luck with that — the system seems just as broken. Bottom line: Steve helps himself more than anyone else. Don’t let yourself be the next person he takes advantage of.

Had my 1985 Alfa Romeo towed in as it had been sitting for some time, and the accelerator was not working. Shop quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed the issue, replaced the battery and recommended tires be replaced, which was done. Steve stayed in contact with me and provided status updates. Shop also arranged to have car towed to another shop for work not done at Apache. Price was fair! Recommend Steve and the shop.

Will never go back. Very unprofessional repairs, followed by customer service and time management. Had all the body and paint work done through Apache for our 1949 Ford F1 pickup. We are not happy at what the truck looks like for the amount we both paid. Paint is severely orange peeled even after they apparently cut and buffed the clear coat. Sent the truck back to them with many problems after being initially painted, including a massive crack in the driver's side cowl section of the cab due to the panel being filled with body filler and not being fully welded in place . Picked truck up on December 29th (2 months later) with more problems then when it was dropped off 2 months prior. Very poor touch-up and finish work. Dented and scratched panels. Lots of overspray/runs and chipped paint

Very consistent in taking on more work than they can handle. I've brought in two vehicles, one was estimate at a 6-9 months of work and actually took 4 years. The other was a fender repair that just never got done. Steve is really nice but sometimes I wonder if he simply expects the antique car owners to pass away before collecting their cars

I brought in (2) vehicles to Steve at Apache. I brought a complete frame off restoration with my 73 Dart, and an auction purchase with my 69 Chevelle. The Dart was the most cumbersome and expensive. My hat goes off to the team for their body/paint work. It was very well done. Other than that, unfortunately I am not satisfied with the Dart specifically due to the time and money spent. I waited just over a year and a half to get to the point of maybe "200-250 hours" left on the job. The engine restoration was subbed out to Johnson's in Warwick. I finally retrieved it in February 2024. They did a good job, but again the timing and cost was high. When it came to the Chevelle, that was less about particulars and more about getting it streetable. I spent over 10K to only have things like the spa
