After Milton left a gaping hole in the side of the roof of the building, it was left uncovered for weeks by the landlord. APE not only responded to my email on a weekend, but showed up the first business day and provided tons of photos of the areas they thought the rat came from. Because we have no control over the building itself, they quoted the exclusion work and did a comprehensive exclusion for all the areas of the attic that were open to intrusion. Rat exclusion services can cost into the thousands, and they’re rarely guaranteed. While this wasn’t cheap for us, we now have an exclusion warranty for a full year.
