Architectural Staircase and Millwork

They installed a custom spiral staircase and railings on a new build beach house for us. We upgraded and used Ipay custom railings and stairway treads. Many of the treads were defective with cracks and significant flaws and the railing was split in multiple places when it was installed. We raised this issue and they committed to repairing the damaged areas but have not returned. They do not respond to phone or email messages and we’ve been waiting months. While the staircase is beautiful I am very concerned that the quality and materials used are substandard and that they don’t stand behind their work.

Our general contractor used Dale/AS&M so we did not seek him out ourselves. Dale was very responsive when quoting our job, but after signing/approving the quote in early March 2024 it went straight downhill from there. Dale received the signed quote and deposit around March 20, 2024 and we were told about 6 weeks out for install. By MAY 15- the day our landscaping was being installed- I still had not gotten any confirmation on an install date. I was onsite for the landscape install and to my utter shock, Dale's assistant came onsite and was trying to measure for the fence. I was INFURIATED. Not only had they not even begun to fabricate our fence, he was stringing measurement twine all through the areas our landscapers were trying to work.
