I had a great experience with Area Rug Co. I unexpectedly found the showroom when in Birmingham for brunch one day and liked what they had. They also offer a home consult program where a specialist comes to your home with samples and can measure to guide what size is best. This is $200 but goes towards your bill if you purchase. Slavica came out to help us with a living room area rug and was great. We ended up asking her to provide some suggestions for foyer and hall rugs as well and she sent beautiful options. We ended up with living room, foyer, and hall rugs and are very happy with the outcome. I would purchase from here again am also so happy to support a woman-owned, local business.

I had the pleasure of working with Slavica when I strolled into ARC to see if I could find an area rug for my bedroom, after searching for more than a year. She was incredibly accommodating; pulling rug samples and under padding, encouraging me to get the full experience. When I went back to pick it up, it was all packed to perfection. Needless to say I’m beyond satisfied! Thanks again for all of your help! I have already begun to highly recommend ARC to all of my family and friends!

I was looking for an area rug for the entrance and living room. My husband told me to check out this store,Birmingham location. I went and meet Katrina. She was so knowledgeable and beyond GRRRREAT customer service. She went over and beyond with assisting me. It's hard to find great customer service but she delivered it and I appreciated that. She emailed rugs that she thought I would like and did a visual look by putting the rug in the room. They have great selections, great quality and pricing. Some stores come with arrogance because of the location not this one!! Continue to shine Katrina ✨️ 😎

HIGHLY recommend Area Rug Co. due to outstanding customer service and a gorgeous selection of rugs! I provided them pictures of 2 areas in need of rugs and was given superb consultation. They have a large variety of styles to choose from and various price points. I really appreciated their patience and expertise in helping me find the perfect matches for my space. LOVE!

I didn't know where to start when finding an area rug for our great room. Tina (owner) provided recommendations based on our photos and style questions. We were able to view those samples in our home so we could make the right decision before ordering the large size needed for our space. It's a great quality piece and requires minimal care.
