My husband and I received an authentic Aboriginal painting as a wedding gift in 2021. Due to timing and other constraints we weren’t able to get it framed until 2023. We did our research to find a company that would treat the piece with respect and help guide us in the framing process because it isn’t something we are very familiar with. April with Artifact has been an absolute delight to work with, even when we encountered some bumps in the road due to shipping delays of materials and an installation mishap. She worked with her installation team to get our artwork hung properly, in person, even though we are not local to Chicago. Also, the painting wasn’t perfectly centered on the canvas, so she respectfully made recommendations on how we could proceed with framing the painting to make it

I worked with April and Kim to frame two watercolors painted in late 1800’s that were recently conserved. April’s expertise with this type of work and the framing requirements was super helpful and Kim’s attention to detail was exemplary. I highly recommend them!
