Asbury Ocean Club Parking

Entered the parking lot, young kid said machine was broken and we could pay when we leave. Specifically asked if we could use card, as we didn’t have cash on us and he reassured us, that it would be totally fine and opened up the gate. Fast forward, we had to wait 20 minutes with no attendant available and a dead number. It took some googling before finding a number that actually worked and were told we could not leave unless we paid cash. I understand if that was told to us from the beginning however we were given the excuse that this employee was new. Great, but a commitment was made and if your employee made the mistake take that responsibility, we were at no fault. Attendant who let us out (finally) was aggressive and rude, offered no alternative and was happy to sit there while we sea
