This review is going to sound like spam because it is so enthusiastic, but I genuinely can say only the best things about Asphalt Star. I needed a 3,000 square foot driveway done and reached out to half a dozen companies in the Southern Maryland region. From the very beginning Asphalt Star proved to be the top contender. They responded to my message first, came out to quote me first, provided the most competitive quote, and fit me into their schedule within days of me confirming the quote. Asphalt Star came out and absolutely AMAZED me! I flip properties in Baltimore so I am rarely impressed by a contractor company, but this company was absolutely literally the best! From start to finish. Communications were flawless. I contacted Scott. He sent someone out and they saw the job and we discussed and talked about pricing and they were extremely fair! It's a very large lot on over 4 acres so I had my guard up for the sticker shock. Their price was super competitive compared to others in the area. What really just set me off as this is the only company I will ever use for Asphalt jobs is they have equipment! Their not renting trucks and equipment. They own their own stuff! Scott came out to give me an estimate and was completely arrogant, rude, and talked down to me like I was some kind of stupid female who knew nothing about asphalt. When I acted surprised at the cost to put in a 20x14 parking space addition he came back with “How much did you think it would be?!” In a condescending tone acting as though I was dumb. I would NEVER EVER use Asphalt Star even if they were half the price of their competitors. No thank you!

Great contractor to work with if you dread working with contractors that you are not sure you can trust. Scott was very up front and communicative and made sure all my requests and concerns were addressed. Actual team doing the work was also very open to questions and concerns and took great care in their work.
