ATC Cooling & Heating

I recently contacted ATC to conduct a diagnostic check on my Trane XR15 (15 year old unit). I was given an appointment the next day along with several texts leading up to my scheduled appointment. Colin was the technician who arrived to service my unit. I really appreciated the app that he sent ahead of time which tracked his arrival to my home. I was impressed with his knowledge of my unit and related equipment. He was a very nice and pleasant young man and took care in explaining what he was doing and answering my questions. His thorough inspection gave me peace of mind regarding the operation of my unit. He was professional as well as personable which is rare sometimes with repair men. I started using them more than 10 years ago (including a new trane heat pump less than 3 years ago) and have had good results until recently. Had problems with HVAC in Dec. and guy came out and they charged me $185 and made some changes in thermostat settings and said it was just too cold for system to operate well. Different guy came out 6 weeks later, same problem, and said needed a part replacement. (but they didn't refund the $185 for the guy who didn't want to find the problem) and they then charged me 1,300+ for repairs almost 2 weeks later to replace the part which was under warranty. They have become very expensive and I will now find a different company to do service and warranty work. Nathan’s crew were efficient and professional and had the old system removed and the new one installed in a surprisingly short time. The areas where they worked, both inside and out looked clean and practically untouched. This is the second complete system we’ve purchased from ATC and it’s a huge improvement!

We had one of our HVAC units stop heating last night and I called ATC this morning a little after 8 AM. The tech was there at 10:15 and had the system up and going within 35 mins. Great, prompt service on a very cold morning and we're very appreciative! Many thanks!
