Avalon Flooring - Rio Grande, NJ

I wasn't going to share my experience with avalon Flooring, because it happened last year but I figured after what they did to me today.It would be a great time to let everyone know. Last year I remodeled my house and I needed carpeting for my downstairs and tile. It was a pretty good chunk of change. I stopped by avalon one day after going to the doctor I wasn't dressed real well, I kinda looked like a bum. But I just left the heart doctor and I didn't feel like getting dressed up. So I stopped by there and walked into the carpet area.. Walked around for well over five minutes.Nobody bothered to walk over to me.They sat and looked at me. Then, I went over to the tile, because I needed to do a little bit of tile work.. Again the same thing they all sat at their desks and stared at me. So I

If I could give 0 stars I would. We explained to John Kelly at the Rio Grande store that we needed carpeting for 3 small bedrooms that could handle high traffic and pets in our rental. He guided us towards the Abbey's Road and the Emerald plus padding and we trusted his expertise. Big mistake. $3600 for 425 sq ft later it's been a disaster. The installation was horrible. The carpeting was puffing up at the doorways and around the edges of each room. Had to call them to have them come back and fix that which they did but didn't fix well. A year later and we have holes/rips at the doorways. Next step, get the estimator( rude and condescending Stephen Bradley) out to see if this is their responsibility to fix. Nope. It's our fault but that is no surprise. Why would a company want to stand by

Adam Care, the gentleman who helped us pick out our tiles, was wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the products he carried and quickly understood the vision that we had for the main bathroom in our beach house. Even though we had decided to go with the tile, the first time that we went, he informed us that a sale would be coming up soon if we wanted to wait. When the sale started, he called us and we finalized the deal. I would definitely work with Adam again!

I recently renovated my bathroom and Gladys was so helpful! She provided information on different material and design options then explained the ordering/delivery process so I could coordinate the timeline with my contractor. I would definitely recommend and return for future projects!

I would be doing Avalon Flooring an injustice if I didn’t rave about their employee, Sallie Rice. Sallie assisted my husband and I for months and months with her wonderful expertise and good eye in selecting tile for our newly constructed home. This was no small task — our project included flooring for the entire kitchen/living areas, multiple (4) bathrooms/showers, and backsplashes. This was an enormous project for us to say the least. We made an appointment with Sallie, and literally walked into the Avalon store with our cabinet swatches in hand without a clue as to what we wanted since we were starting from scratch.
