AVR Audio Video Repair

I was given this contact from the Sony website as a company to repair a tv- he said they don't do tv's and hung up on me. When I called back to ask if he knew of any other places or any help, he yelled at me and said he is very busy and doesn't know what to tell me. His unprofessionalism alone should be the downfall of this business. Even if he could help me I would never want someone who treats people like that to assist me with anything.

I was setup by my warranty company on 7/30/16 to have my television serviced by Audio Video Repair, Inc. on 8/3/16. I received a call on 8/1/16 stating that the technician would not be able to come on 8/3/16 due to broken down trucks and staffing issues and would have to come the following week. I reluctantly agreed (I didn’t have a choice-warranty repair) and was visited by “Dennis” on 8/10/16. Dennis spent all of 10 minutes at my house, basically having me describe my issue with the TV, looked at the inside with a flashlight through the vent holes, and then told me that he would need to take it in for service. After talking to Sony about my television I went on their website to look for a repair place and this company is the only one listed in New Jersey so I called and the guy could not have been more rude that answered the phone he cut me off told me it’s annoying having people call there and said tell them we don’t service Sony, maybe the owner should take the time and contact Sonia and tell them to remove them from the website. From the reviews I’m not surprised the way I got treated just looking for help

DON'T GO HERE!! Look at all the other reviews and steer clear of this horrible business. I called on a Thursday to get my television scheduled for repairs. Woman told me technician was not in till Tuesday. I called on Tuesday to schedule repairs and wanted to ask the technician if it was worth for me to take off my wall and bring in? It was displaying 4 flashing red lights. only to have the owner yelling at the girl and told her I was not allowed to speak to the technician. I asked to speak to him and after several minutes when he got on the phone I said hello but he did not acknowledge me.(Just like another reviewer had said the owner had done to him). Like the other reviews below, this by far has to be the worst and most ignorant company and individuals I have ever dealt with. If I could give them a negative -100 stars I would. My husband and I are have issues with our TV and LG uses this company to service TVs in the area. When I tell you these are the most incompetent people ever....that is being nice. First off...a technician came to our home to look at our TV and visual he could see that the TV was having issues...but since he did not have a large enough vechicle to transport our TV back to the shop, he told us there was no need to take the TV off the wall- and someone would come back to our home on Monday to pick it up- guess what no call/ no show and the TV was off the wall waiting.
