A moment ago I 100% do NOT recommend using this company at ALL. Bret from B & J Electrical scammed me out of $400 stating that my HVAC system/heat wasn't working and needed 4lbs of Freon. He was sent out by Cinch Home Warranty company to figure out why my heat wasn't working. He wanted the check written out to him personally or cash. After refusing I wrote the check out to the company. He deposited the check the same day. After speaking to Cinch he didn't document the unit needing Freon at all. Cinch also stated that all repairs must be documented in the system. He doesn't return phone calls either. He stated that my heating system wasn't working and was unsafe to run. Turns out he hasn't submitted anything to the home warranty company. So now I am without heat for 10 days and now it's the

This company is a scam. They were sent out by my moms warranty company and they did not perform the work they were sent to do even though he said they did. Attached is the picture of the “new” part they said they replaced. Not new!!! Then they said the Freon was low and charged $500. Do not use this company. And do not let them talk you into getting Freon. Get another option.

This company is an absolute racket. My Home Warranty company sent these guys and they are the absolute worse. Do not use them because they don't fix anything and you will have to bring someone in after them to have your unit repaired. Don't fall for the "there's a leak" and you need freon gig. Be prepared to shell out $350 because your Warranty doesn't cover a freon refill and they don't actually do it. I just needed routine maintenance and last year they told me I needed a whole new unit. If you see them coming to your front door don't use them. You have been warned. I'm telling you. Somebody will have to come behind them and do the job right.

If I could give zero stars, I would. B&J Heating, Air, and Electrical was assigned to my home by my warranty company for a plumbing estimate. They accepted the job—likely just to block another contractor from getting it—but NEVER contacted me to schedule a visit. They do not answer their so-called “business” phone, and they completely ignore voicemail messages. I tried multiple times to reach them with no success. Their lack of communication is beyond unprofessional—it’s flat-out disrespectful. I had to go back to my home warranty company and request a different contractor, because a company that accepts a job but won’t even follow up is not one I trust to actually show up, let alone make quality repairs. This company has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau which pretty much says it all. I would advise you to check out the complaints yourself. This company was assigned by my home warranty company for a repair, otherwise I would never have willingly engaged them for work. I would have give zero stars if possible. If you want to be frustrated, have your time wasted AND not get anything repaired properly, then this company is your perfect match.
