Worst Company ever they do not want to repair your system. They keep telling me over the phone that my system is fine without having someone look at it. I am unfortunately stuck because this is who DR Horton used to install the AC and Heating system and that is who the warranty is under for now. It has taken them 2 months to finally send someone out to look at the AC this week. Also check out the scrap bricks they used from my front fascia to install the unit. Not a very professional company. Just to update what the said about a wait time for the appointment. There was no wait time because they refused to schedule anyone. They said there was nothing wrong with my AC when they diagnosed it over the phone. I had to call them like 5 or 6 times before they finally gave in and said they would

Technician showed up on a date that wasn't scheduled, then tried to blame us for not being there. Even after I explained the mistake, they were completely dismissive and rude.

My original complaint was the same as most of the negative reviews on here about warranty. Long story short, my new townhouse (less than one year) had an issue with the HVAC (leaking pipe and malfunctioning sensor) and B&R said my warranty was voided because we reconnected the loose piping to stop the leak. When initially dealing with Chrissy on this issue, I didn't get anywhere trying to state my case. She was argumentative and didn't even follow up after a final decision was made. Fortunately, I ended up working with Tammy who listened to my situation, was empathetic, and took the appropriate steps to take care of me. What started off as a rocky start has ended positively. I moved into a DR Horton home last April 2021. B&R was the HVAC contractor. May 2022 my air conditioner stopped cooling. Of course right after my warranty expired. A TXV valve which controls the freon/Refrigerant needs to be replaced is shot. The part is under warranty with Carrier but will cost me 1,200. I hate to know the cost with no warranty. I will not purchase a DR Horton house again. Cheap is their quality. Also, a soda can was found under the unit. Gross.
