Back Bay Customs

Back Bay Customers rebuilt and upgraded my 1969 Camaro Body and Frame. This included replacing several body sections, floor pans, trunk pans, dash panels and frame tie-ins. The body work was exceptional with epoxy coatings on the chassis and fantastic paint work with the original Lemans Blue color. I've begun to enter it in shows in Maine and have gotten a lot of compliments on the finished project. Check out the photos.

These guys are amazing on multiple levels! First and foremost, their body and paint work is remarkable. I brought them a raw fiberglass body that I've heard is very difficult to make look good. These guys nailed it! I wasn't even dreaming that it would turn out looking this good. And just so you know, the darker the color the harder it is to hide imperfections on the body. There's not one ripple to be found anywhere. On top of the quality work they were also super helpful and making sure my car was transported safely. It wasn't registered at the time so it needed to be towed and they took it upon themselves to come to my house with a trailer and load it up and deliver it. Back Bay Customs is just a group of good guys. Period. My 73 year old father was roadtripping from Nevada, to Anchorage, AK, and over to the East coast this summer. He called me from Portland ME saying that he had ripped the generator off the bottom of his Promaster (Ram’s version of the sprinter) going through a big dip in a dirt road and was stranded with an appointment 9 days out to get the generator mounts checked out by the nearest RV shop. I work in classic and exotic cars and constantly call a lot of random specialists to figure out different problems, started googling fab and hotrod shops in the area and very luckily got ahold of these guys. The crew at Back Bay Customs are fantastic to work with. The quality of their work is second to none. They keep you posted of their progress all along the way with frequent text and photo updates.
