Back Bay Garage

My good friend pays half a grand monthly for the privilege of using this garage. Tonight, a very cold and windy Halloween night, we were waiting by the elevator for our Uber. We took a few photos of our costumes, and an employee of the adjoining apartment building came over to (rudely) inform us we can’t take photos. We apologized, and continued to quietly talk amongst ourselves while we waited. We were waiting in this spot for maybe a cumulative two minutes when a woman who introduced herself as the lead security guard questioned what we were doing there. I said we parked downstairs and another friend said we were waiting for an Uber. She then said, “So which is it?” to imply we were lying. Attendants were EXTREMELY rude to me. Had an issue with my ticket, went to go check the machine. Attendant threw his hands up at me, I walked over to talk to him, and another female attendant came running out and yelled at me “what do you want?!” I told her she didn’t need to talk to me that way, and she chilled out. However, I can’t believe the way I was treated initially. Not to mention that it’s expensive too.

Kevin, a member of the security team, was beyond helpful and kind! I was lost looking for a neighboring garage, Kevin assured me he would help me (late at night and female walking alone), answered all questions I had, and truly made me feel safe. He even walked me to the corner of the block to make sure I knew where to go from there. Kevin’s kindness will not be forgotten and I’m so thankful he was there!

It’s expensive but a decent place (I paid $43 for a couple of hours. Car wash on the 3rd level super quick and cheap ($25 to hand wash an suv)

Parked last night for a work event on Newbury Street. Convenient location and you can't beat the price.
