Our furnace quit working on Monday November 24. We called Barnes and they were really busy but she said they would get someone as soon as possible. Tuesday afternoon she called and said a service man would be able to come later that day. He came and figured out what the problem was and determined the part was under warranty. He said it would have to be ordered and probably would not be here until next week. This afternoon Wednesday November 26, he came and said the part had arrived and installed it. We now have heat!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to us. We are very appreciative. He said we would be billed.

Called and needed a estimate on a new heating system (furnace, pump, ect) and talked to a lady that said she would have one of her guys call me and schedule. 2 weeks later after no call i called them again. Got the same thing as they wanted to take down my number again. Told them I would go with someone else as im not waiting again just to be blown off. Pretty bad when you cant even get a estimate out of them. I get it. Heating/cooling places are busy in the summer. But not to even get a call back on a potential $10k+ sale says something about their credibility. Guess its a good thing as its a sign of how they do business.

Don't expect a call back from this company. Be prepared to do all of the follow up calls etc on your own. I was supposed to get a call within 2 days after the Service Tech was here for information on parts. After 3 days of waiting, I had to call them and tell them what the Service Tech said/did etc. I was told that someone will call me with an estimate on a new install. It's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for the call. I obviously went with another company, who installed a new AC unit within a week. They were prompt, professional, courteous & returned calls. Poor customer service cost this company a new install job.

We are extremely pleased with our experience with Barnes Heating and Cooling. We needed a new heating and cooling system to replace our old system. We called Barnes Heating and Cooling who were professional, courteous, and helpful, from the start to the finish of the job. The installation was quick and our heating/cooling unit works great. Many thanks to the installers for great work!!

Bruce Cortes just happened to hear a voicemail I left on his business phone after hours today and came to my house to fix my air conditioner at 8:20pm tonight—only three hours after I left the phone message AND after working all day in 100+ degree heat. Who does that??? Only someone who is a business owner with a heart of absolute gold and a work ethic that is beyond stellar!!! My 83 degree house is now cooling down all thanks to Bruce Cortes going way over and above the call of what any business owner could be asked to do. He replaced our heat pump two winters ago and did much the same with service—squeezed our job in on short notice with his already full schedule. Bruce Cortes is a hard working, knowledgeable, efficient, caring and honest owner of a company that I would highly recommend
