Like a personal hurricane, we have been left with a path of destruction because of our choice in builder. Sadly, there are probably devastations beyond those that are obvious to our untrained eye. A few major issues have only come to light now that they are gone, and we have had to call other advisors and service providers to fix the problems that were left behind. Here are some of the worst violations: 1. We requested a RICO ROCK fountain and wrote it into the contract. When pouring the concrete, the space for the pipe to the fountain was placed in the wrong spot. It was installed 6 inches too far from the appropriate placement. To accommodate the misplaced pipe, they had to construct extra faux rocks and jimmy-rig the piping to stretch out the additional half foot. This has caused the fo

We have a Customer who has a leaky return jet on a fiberglass pool. Called Barrier Reef to have them come out and fix the leak. I was asked by them if this was a Customer I had on service. I replied in the affirmative, that yes they were a Customer of mine; on service and that they (Barrier Reef) could talk directly to them. Imagine my surprise when my Customer calls me and informs me that Barrier Reef tried to steal the service account right out from under me, after I referred them the job. My Customer said that Barrier Reef claimed they could service the pool for a lot less then what they were currently paying and that we were charging them way too much for service of a salt water pool. We had glass tile placed on our fiberglass pool today. Looks beautiful!! Brock was very informative when asked questions and listened to our concerns with the process of putting the tile on the pool. The only complaint that I have is the tile has only a 90 day warranty.
