Basement Gurus

A very positive experience. We had damp basement walls and occasional water on floor for years and finally decided to do a thorough fix. Josh gave us a prompt estimate and explained the proposed solution well. I moved stored materials away from the walls. The crew set up dust protection and put in long days. One noisy day for cutting perimeter trenches, four days to install the drain system, wall vapor barrier, stucco cover on walls, and concrete cover at trenches. They worked very efficiently and with care. Stucco wall finish is excellent. Left the floor washed clean and dust free. We are very impressed. It’s an investment, but I think well worth the cost.

Dirt crawl space encapsulation….Fantastic from start to finish. Like day and night. Crew came in and cleaned up everything, laid out thick vapor barrier, insulated walls, and installed dehumidifier.Pictures show some before and some after. Humidity levels used to be between 85 to ninety percent. Now a steady 50%. Done in a day.

I’ve been waiting to share this. It’s been months since Basement Gurus came out and installed a French drain and sump pump in our basement. We haven’t had water issues since! They gave us a great price with plenty of payment options. They were quick and professional and knocked the job out in no time. They always make time for me if I questions or concerns. I contracted with Basement Gurus for a very large home renovation (basement dig out, underpinning, perimeter drain, and new concrete floor). The Basement Gurus were at my house for nearly six weeks for the project. The team was always respectful of my property and very helpful. The salesman (Josh) was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the large project. They finished the project 4-5 months ago and we have not had any water in the basement. In that time, some large storms have come through that have flooded my neighbors basements but mine remained dry. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! They are fantastic to work with and provide outstanding quality work for a very fair price.
