Bassett Services: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical

Did not fix the true problem. Then called me and wanted to charge me more to come out and do what was supposed to have been done in the first place. Called Brown's plumbing in Lebanon ohio. Come out and fix the problem within an hour.Charge me two hundred dollars. Would not Recommend this buisness!

I was initially impressed with Bassett Services a few years ago when I hired them for plumbing work. Scheduling and estimating were quick and straightforward, and they offered a no-charge visit and quote. Their walkthrough was thorough, and they asked all the right questions. The work began promptly and was inspected, which is why I decided to schedule another appointment—this time for electrical services. The scheduling call was professional and welcoming, and the electrician reached out with plenty of notice before arriving, which I appreciated. He listened to my concerns and quickly assessed the home’s electrical layout, clearly explaining which issues required immediate attention and which were less urgent. I was quoted $1200 to fix the the angle of the toilet drain pipe. The plumber replaced a small piece of pipe and only charged me $600 so I was happy. When my contractor came he finished tiling the floor and when he put the toilet flange on realized that the issue I had paid to get fixed, was NOT fixed. When the plumber came back out he quoted me an additional $1800+ to fix it the right way. So now my total would be $2400!! (1800+$600) The original quote was only $1200! None of this includes the drywall repair to the ceiling below my bathroom. Also there was a mess on the floor that I had to clean up from the first “repair” that was made.

Austin was exceptional! He diagnosed the issue with our furnace and provided us with the information we needed to make an informed decision on the repair. We would request him in the future for all of our HVAC needs!! Thank you for the fantastic service!
