I hired Ken Baughman to repair water damage in my home after an overflowing toilet affected two levels. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive, and I want to share it so others can make informed decisions. As the work neared completion, I noticed several issues with the wall and ceiling texture. My home has textured walls, but the texture applied was uneven and didn’t match the existing finish. It was sprayed from a can and created a blotchy appearance. After I communicated my concerns, additional spray was applied, but in several areas it looked worse. Ken told me that he “wasn’t getting paid enough” to use a mechanical sprayer that would make it look better. The ceiling texture was also not even close to the original/rest of the ceiling. Ken did some finish work for me. Very good job. Good precision. Company is reliable, timely and so easy to work with. Gave me good workable suggestions. Highly recommend
