BC Stone

We went through Lowe's for new quartz countertops in our kitchen, bar area, bathroom, and laundry room. Lowe's contracts their work out to BC Stone for the materials and installation. All I can say is Wow! I worked with a man named Josh at BC Stone and he was our project manager. Not only did he manage our project, and answer all of my questions about the quartz, but Josh also sent me links with different types of undermount sinks that would work well for us since we needed matching sinks in the main sink and island sink. This was a large job with about 210 square feet of quartz with 4 sink cutouts, and 1 cooktop cutout. My wife and I also decided to run the quartz up to the bottom of the cabinets. Workers were nice. We noticed some things not quite perfect the day after. A gap in the caulking right behind the sink, an important place for ample caulking to prevent mold to get behind the countertop (pictured). Some shims sticking out and some gaps under edges. I wish they would have been more careful with their work. We used bc stone through Lowes.

I'll be completely honest, my initial experience wasn't perfect however what was perfect was the level of IMMEDIATE attention, respect and understanding provided by upper management. My installation team was beyond kind. I hadn't been aware that my existing needed removed as my ex had handled the initial part of the project. The countertops and the installation team were great. Unfortunately, the service beyond that was not. The team initially came to install three sections, including a 17‑foot island. While the island was book‑matched beautifully, the section near the sink looked terrible. The installers agreed, called the project manager, and decided to take the pieces back to be recut. Later that day, the project manager called to tell me they originally had a great book‑matched piece, but it was dropped off a crane and then recut by someone new. Hearing that was concerning, and I asked whether they had any quality control for new hires—there was no real answer. I could not be more pleased with the job that Jordan and Dustin of BC Stone did here today. The countertops look fabulous! They were precisely on time and worked together like a well-oiled machine. Plus, they were extremely patient with me as I tend to ask as many questions as a 5-year-old. Give these guys a raise and a 3-week paid vacation - they are certainly worth it!
