Bear creek Organics is a local gem. The amazing variety of native trees along with Richie’s thorough knowledge to plan and install your dream nursery is a home run. Our fruit trees are doing great and I always learn a lot working with Richie - for over 10 years now. Bear Creek Organics is the real deal. Richie is a real down to earth guy. I went with them for my home food forest. I initially posted on Facebook in a homestead group what people would do with my piece of property to make it work for me. Richie made a very nice plan in the comments and didn't push his company just an "i would start by..." I looked more into him and his company and took a ride out to see his nursery. He was very passionate and took the time to show and explain everything. I did a hybrid model of his program where he then came out to my property, walked the land, took soil samples, and we talked about the plan. We had an amazing time today at Bear Creek Organics! Richard helped us pick out some amazing apple and peach trees. We also chose some Paw Paw trees, white cherry bushes and aurosa honeyberry bushes! Richard is very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us to pick the perfect trees and bushes to meet our needs. Can't wait to return in the spring for more!

I emailed Richie to ask about a blueberry plant I wanted to buy and he offered to bring it to my home since he happened to be coming to my town that day. Incredible service! He had lots of good tips for planting my bush. I bought one last year that produced beautiful, delicious blueberries. Looking forward to another successful bush!

I have been working with Rich from Bear Creek Organics the fall, to accomplish step one in our plan to make my yard functional, beautiful, and edible! I have a 1/2 acre plot, not a lot of ground but it was very hilly and did not drain well. Every time there was a decent rainfall, the yard would flood. In addition there are a lot of rocks and very little soil. The previous property owners had tried unsuccessfully to grow a lawn, I assume in an effort to make the yard more cohesive and pleasant to use. But due to poor soil quality and lack of sun in some places, the "lawn" was nothing more than a patchy obnoxious tripping hazard.
