Working with Josue and the team was seamless and wonderful! After sharing inspo pictures with Josue, he quickly recommended what would make the most sense for our baby’s nursery. Bearricade did an amazing job painting my apartment! The team was friendly, clean, and very professional. Everything was finished on time and looks incredible. I especially loved their limewash work — it completely transformed the space. I’d definitely hire them again!

My initial impression of Bearricade painters was very positive. Josue was very professional over the phone and was quick to reply to my emails. Unfortunately, the quality of work done and slow follow-up are why I’ve given this business a two-star rating. Some specifics: 1) pricing: Josue and I negotiated prices and eventually landed on $1,350 for the job. He sent over the contract for me to sign, and I’m glad I checked it first, because the price was over $1,600. When asked about this discrepancy, he said that they had miscalculated something in the first draft of the quote and had to revise (but note that they never told me this until I called them out on it). Hired Bearricade to repaint my 3Br apt in Brooklyn and was very happy with the full experience. Easy and timely communication, they adapted to my ask for doing the job on split days (including a Sunday) and were very professional throughout. Also very competitively priced, compared to the other quotes i received. Fully recommend.
