Beautiful Wood Floors

We hired Beautiful Wood Floors for our entire home hardwood floor replacement — upstairs, stairs/landing, and downstairs. They set the standard themselves with the upstairs: beautiful distressing, a clean matte finish, two coats of Odie’s Oil, and a result we were genuinely happy with. We expected the same professionalism downstairs. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and we had the following instead: 1. Sanding issues showed up immediately: We later learned the downstairs boards were partially sanded off-site in their shop before installation. This created deep snipe marks and troughs at the ends of boards. Some spots were deep enough to fit a dime. These defects were installed into the floor and cannot be corrected without replacing boards. 2. Installation issues: One board was install

We have been enjoying our refinished floors for almost a year now. They are still as beautiful as the when they were first refinished. I highly recommend Beautiful Wood Floors. Their work ethic is stellar and the customer service is impeccable. When they did our floors, they ended up needed a second coating (due to the weather not cooperating they weren’t able to do it at that time). True to her word, Wendy called in the spring and set up a time to finalize our floors. Trustworthy. Reliable. Two of the most important words when looking for someone to do any work on your home. Beautiful Wood Floors recently did an instal in my master bedroom. I gave William and his team the creative lead. Told them how it would be furnished and that I wanted more natural tones. They went above and beyond. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results and will have them for any future floors I get done.

We hired William and his team to refinish our +60 year old oak floors. William and his team members were amazing. You can tell they care about their work and making their customers happy. William is very knowledgeable and experienced with this work, and he was open and honest about everything. I never felt pressured. We talked at length about the products available and I HIGHLY recommend the Pallmann Magic Oil (see photos). He even saved me some money by teaching me how to replace boards since there were only a couple that needed it and it wasn't going to be cost effective to pay him to do it. We had the good fortune of finding William and Wendy to refinish our 25 year old wood floors. We are beyond thrilled with our wood floor that looks better than brand new. Completely enjoyed the whole team’s professionalism, responsiveness, skill, knowledge and timeliness. The contract was thorough and followed to completion. We chose an alternate product called Odies Oil. So very happy with the appearance and non toxic citrus odor. Able to stay in the house during finishing.
