BELFOR Property Restoration (Connecticut)

Crew used my personal vacuum to suck up drywall and destroyed it. In front of me they disconnected the water under my sink and ruined everything that was under the sink. Destroyed my belongings in front of me and without my permission.

Extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to personal property. My belongings including kitchenware, bathroom accessories, bedsheets, clothes were badly soiled after the company provided their drying service in my apartment. When they brought their drying hardware in (I was not informed about this and thus was completely unprepared and absent at the time), they did not even bother to cover some of my possessions with at least plastic drape, while the drying machines were circulating dust and debris all over. There was no active leak and the situation was otherwise not emergent. Once I saw this chaos I found the manager and asked him for explanation and the manager told me that he did not care, and they would not speak to me. Have never dealt with a better company. They responded virtually immediately, in about 80 minutes and ATTACKED the problem. They handled all issues with insurance, addressed ALL repairs and communicated perfectly throughout. Ours was three floors of damage and everything was repaired, replaced and in a few instances, upgraded. I hope to never experience home damage like this again but knowing who to call, and entrust work to, is genuinely comforting. Work performed August, September 2023.

Belfor is by far one of the best remediation/restoration companies I've used. As a property manager, I've experienced alot of damages from floods, fires, sewer backups, roof leaks, foundation leaks, you name it. Their team is very responsive, organized and professional. If it's a covered insurance claim, they will work with your adjustor to make sure everything is covered. They keep you updated every step of the way. They have all the equipment you can need, whether it's a small incident or a large one that affects a multi unit building. I highly recommend using them!!

I had some work done by Belfor that was selected by Tesla as they were coordinating it. The contractors was very thorough, showed up when they were supposed to and the work was Perfect.
