Ben & Sol All Around Handyman

Ben does good work, but cuts a lot of corners. If you want a job done and the final look of the project isn't important they are great but if you want your repair job to be done right and look professionally completed, use someone else. I hired them twice giving him the benefit of the doubt and got the same type of results both times. I included a picture of the second job. I hired them to repair the drywall in my garage. I had to ask him to cut the foam he used to at least make it look flush. He did not replace the drywall as we agreed on when I hired him. He instead patched the old one without telling me he was not doing the agreed upon work. This is in a garage with the pool pump so it's not the worst job, but not what we're agreed and doesn't look like I paid a professional

Do not use him nor the company. I had hired him to install a wooden fence, I got quoted $1200 but said he could do it for $1000 as a friend discount and asked for $500 deposit for materials. handed him $500 cash and have never seen him again. *** STAY AWAY FROM HIM AND COMPANY AT ALL COST *** If you want to keep your money. I wish there was an option to post zero stars. We assigned this vendor who didn't show up and then called us scammers because we are not *White*. Then he said I know the client personally and I will go to their home tomorrow and fix it get paid and we are off. That's so weird because the homeowner is the one who assigned us the work and the person living there is a resident on rent. Please be careful with him. We already blocked him from our system and will never use him again. Wasted our 1 business day and sanity.

If you are considering hiring the services of Ben And Sol, WAIT! First read this review. We hired Ben and Sol to paint the exterior of our house. I think the first mistake I made was hiring a handyman to paint my house and not a professional painting company. Ben's team is very polite and hard-working but they arrived at more or less 11:30am to start the day. Of course, if you start working at mid day you will have fewer hours of daylight to work with. This is what happened next, the last two days they worked during the night! Can someone explain to me how painting at night you are able to see the details of what you're exactly painting? My wife and I hired Ben & Sol to fix a myriad of things before we moved in to a house. Most importantly they are responsive and hard working. We are very happy to have hired them and will continue using them in the future. Great communication and very clean. It's a family business and they are all very pleasant to work with.
