I bought firewood from Berks Soil and Stone this year. They delivered quickly. It's excellent long-burning hardwood. The gentleman who delivered was really friendly and delivered to the exact location we needed. I highly recommend this company. Thanks to the Berks Soil and Stone team!

The owner was very rude and dismissive towards me when explaining why he didn't want to deliver to my property. He didn't have any other solution he immediately told me to find another company to do it. I even asked if a smaller truck could be used he said no find another company to do it. He was afraid my road was too soft and it actually isn't that soft, the truck would have been fine on the road and my bushes would have been cut back if they had come at the time they were scheduled too (10 am not 9:15 as he stated). He said no one is gonna want to deliver to me and I explained that I've had deliveries and they were all from his company. Wow! Google Earth photo is old - this is the yard at Berks Soil and Stone (I just took this pic). It's so organized, very very nice . . . worth the trip from West Reading! I bought bags of stone for painting (Berks County Rocks), and having more delivered . . . helpful, friendly staff in office and yard :)

Great pricing for wood chips and excellent communication from all the staff I talked to, especially Allison. The delivery came the same day and the driver was very friendly, communicated well, and followed all directions. We will be back!

Had what I thought was an issue, called on a Sunday night, left a heated message. Next morning someone came out from their organization to address my concern. Turns out I was wrong and put my mind at ease. World class customer service from a landscaping retailer! I would never go nor recommend any place else for my landscaping needs other then Berks soil and stone. Hats off to Berks soil and stone. No question why they are so successful. Thanks.
