Bernard Henderson - Cabinetmaker. Antique Furniture Restoration

Bernard Henderson does beautiful work in his scaled back home shop. He skillfully repaired multiple breaks on an antique Pennsylvania German painted chest and did amazing matched touch-up of the floral pattern. The repairs are invisible. He clearly takes pride in his work. Bernard communicated well and was easy to work with. We were lucky to find him. Pricing seemed reasonable given the craftsmanship involved.

Mr Henderson helped repair a broken cabinet and did an excellent job. The cabinet door had been completely snapped off at a seam near the hinges and then hastily/poorly glued back together with wood glue. Mr Henderson did a wonderful job repairing and restraining the door. He finished the job within a week, which was the timeframe he gave us when we dropped it off. Highly recommend!

Over the 20 years I have dealt with Bernie his care and expertise have been qualities I have learned to trust completely. He is skillful and relishes making beautiful pieces of furniture. He is respectful while refurbishing older pieces and returning them to their original beauty.

Used him twice. Really talented at restoration of antique furniture. Very nice man. Would never hesitate to recommend him.
