Just had another great experience at Downey Best Buy. Their staff is top notch. Super knowledgeable and are always patient. Wouldn't go any place else for my appliance needs. Did I mention their selection? Something for everyone. Would definitely recommend.

I strongly discourage anyone from buy appliances from Best Buy. Four years ago I purchased a $4k LG refrigerator, among many other appliances during a kitchen remodel. Less than a year later, the refrigerator’s craft ice maker stopped working. Geek Squad ultimately replaced the ice maker. Since then I’ve experienced this same issue nearly a dozen times. Recently, the Geek Squad agents did not show up for a pre scheduled repair appointment that was made three weeks in advance. I was not given advanced notice of the canceled appointment, and instead was notified the morning of. I’ve asked to return the refrigerator, and I’ve even asked for a replacement or store credit to purchase a new fridge. Best Buy has refused all requests. Their only response has been, “We’re sorry for the inconvenienc

Not a great experience with customer service regarding screen protector replacement warranty. They want to have you pa $8 for geek squad to replace it when an associate can do it for free. Now, I’ll install it myself probably poorly.. leading to the screen protector breaking again easily when dropped, and I’ll have to come back in and replace it… again. Leading to a loss of $34.99 for Best Buy. Doesn’t seem like the best model. $8 vs $34.99. Improve customer service plz.

Woke up at 5 am today 2/20/26 for the pokemon launch Me my little sister and friend. We brought it to the workers attention how some people from the line were cutting others in line, we seen some people get into their car drove off and came back into the line , others that weren’t even in line were cutting and have saved spots from their friends. We let the worker in advance an hour before opening how some people weren’t in line and the worker didn’t do anything about it. They handed out tickets and let the people who cut EVEYONE who was originally in line, very disappointed in how they handled their launch and handled everything. With multiple people complaining and brought their concerns to the workers they should’ve been more consistent and considerate to those who actually had patience

Some staff at this best buy are very aloof and not as proactive or helpful in their approach. However, one employee named Israel came to me later and was very helpful. He changed the experience for me at the store and helped me purchase a new phone. Thanks Israel! The reason I'm giving a mixed score is because I hope the store management will look into those employees who aren't very helpful and are a bit standoff-ish and do something about them.
