We hired this company in the spring of 2025 to build a new deck on the back of our house. They did a fair job in a reasonable amount of time. There were some challenges communicating to get what we asked for on the stairs, but fortunately those details were included in the contract. The stairs are very sturdy and wide enough for two way traffic. For all the time and effort that went into this, I think they could easily do better on the small stuff. The corners on the drink rail should make contact but have had small gaps since the day they installed them. One of the support columns is cut so bad that it doesn't make contact at the point of most support. Overall, we're satisfied with the finished project. Ray Nation and his company Best Construction Brands did a phenomenal job on my deck replacement project. It was no small feat, as I have 2 decks (upper & lower walkout) with the main deck over 700 square feet averaging 20-25 feet high off the ground on a steep sloping and heavily tree’ed lot. Ray personally came out to assess the project needs, and took the time to discuss his company’s history and a summary of his many deck projects he’s completed in the Colorado Springs area. I’ve seen other families in my neighborhood do similar projects that took months to complete with a one or two man crew, and Ray assured me he could do the teardown of the old redwood decks and completely rebuild new ones with all new maintenance free materials and metal railings in about 10 days with a 4-5 man cre

Best Construction Brands built us an amazing cover for our deck. They designed the project with our needs and ideas in mind, and made it happen! Our On-site Project Lead (Roger) is great at his craft, and was meticulous in his detail. He made sure everything was done perfectly each day. Ray (the Boss) would come by to check progress, and communicate any issues ( or new ideas) on a daily basis. I'd also like to say, that each day when finished, they would clean up and make sure my property/yard was put back together; they went above and beyond, and we appreciate that type of ethic. I strongly recommend staying far away from this company. We paid $11,000 for a shower installation and deeply regret it. No demolition work was done (we did it), the ceiling was left unfinished, and the shower door was not included. We have since discovered mold and water damage, which is extremely concerning given the price we paid. The wall panels don’t even line up properly from wall to wall, the "grout" lines are visibly misaligned. When we contacted the owner, Ray, to address these issues, he was unprofessional, dismissive, and demeaning to both me and my wife. His only offer to "fix" anything was to charge us another $1,700 just to install a shower door that should have been part of the job to begin with. This was an incredibly expensive lesson for us.
