Big Apple Maid of New Jersey

Terrible company, my wife contacted them to do a custom cleaning and explained repeatedly over the phone that we had just installed new kitchen cabinets, so the deep cleaning is for 2 living rooms, hallway and simple mop floors of kitchen. After cleaning people showed up they said this is post construction and it’s different rates. Called the company and spoke to Vanessa who said she explained this to my wife and stated that 2 cleaning people for a total of 1.5 hours each and it was explained and recorded over a phone call. Had her replay the phone call and lo and behold she never explained this to my wife and even after Venessa repeatedly said this was discussed over the phone, the story now changed to you should’ve read your contract, terrible response to a customer because I called her

To begin, they were running late & did not call anyone to let us know that they were running late so we had to cancel our plans for the day. There were 3 in total that came. 2 females and 1 male. The 2 females did a phenomenal job cleaning and I was more than satisfied with the job they did. The 1 male kept dropping stuff in the bathroom and it wasn’t until they left that I noticed that he broke the shower head in my guest bathroom. While he was cleaning, I also noticed that he spilled oil in one of my baskets when putting the basket back in the bathroom cabinet. Again, I loved the job that they perform, but if I have to use them again I’ll request to not have that male come to my house.

Completely unprofessional. I had scheduled a cleaning and left my credit card on file. Cleaners were supposed to arrive at 1pm. I called at 2:10pm since no one had showed up yet even though everything was confirmed only to be informed that nobody was going to come since their cleaners called out. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. As a business they should’ve informed me before my promised time or found other cleaners to come. They didn’t even have the decency to call and let me know.

Kickass - they do a thorough and I mean a thorough job - they find dust and dirt where you think it never existed
