Big C Lumber

This is my go-to spot for wood. The quality is solid—5 out of 5. Boards are always straight and dry. Picked up some 4x8 plywood and a couple of specialty brackets last week. Staff is decent overall, they know their stuff. John in the yard was super helpful getting me loaded up. Here's the rub, though: The service at the checkout is seriously slow. If you’re in a hurry, don't count on a quick transaction. They have the best materials, but zero sense of urgency up front. Still giving them 5 stars because I'm paying for the product, not the speed. Highly recommend if you're building anything serious.

I came here as a UPS seasonal driver to deliver some packages. The first guy was so nice. My door was stuck and he got it for me. I was having a rough time because I lost my gloves and it’s like 2° outside when I went out to the store to deliver the rest of my package, my hands were froze and two of the gentleman gave me a pair of gloves. These people are so sweet. If I ever need lumber, I’m definitely coming here. These are the nicest people I met all day. Merry Christmas big C lumber

Great inventory. Their mill can make just about anything you want. Very friendly and helpful staff. HONEST! Had a great experience discussing a window project with the guys in the mill shop. They don't do as many windows sashes as they used to, but have the capability to make them. I'm pleased with the pointers and ideas we discussed. Highly recommended!

Looks like a great lumber store, very fast and helpful phone service. Just wanted to report that Google maps is wrong - this place only sells new lumber - not reclaimed/salvaged lumber like Google implies in screenshot.

What a mess. Placed an order 3 1/2 weeks ago, and no one has an idea what’s going on. Left messages no one returns calls. Seems like a 50/50 shot of getting what you need. Good luck.
