Billy Beard Electric

We used Billy Beard for all of the wiring on our new shop and new house. They were overall very good to work with and did a number of extra things that were not on the bid - like adding more outlets, running CAT5 wire etc - for no extra cost. Their senior electrician also suggested a number of changes like adding more lights and switches. They were also really good about showing up in a timely manner and fitting in our project between their others.

I am very disappointed with Billy Beard Electric. I have used them many times over the years and have recommended them to others who have asked for a quality electrician. Recently we had a handyman doing some work at my home and he had an issue and thought he put a screw through a wire so he stopped work on the ceiling fan, we called Billy Beard Electric to come out and assess the situation. The staff that visited the home said there was no issue and no screw through a wire and installed the fan but said that the handyman had burned up the motor in the fan and it would need to be replaced, and then gave me a $125+ dollar invoice for the service call. The telephone answerer was less than helpful. Totally not understanding my request, she claimed they couldn't do the job. Funny, because they did all the electrical work here previously.
