the steps leading into the house always felt too tall, so they added a middle step. small fix but now my kids go up and down without tripping.

the driveway we had before sloped toward the house, and every storm meant water in the garage. joey pointed out the issue right away and re-graded the whole setup before pouring the new slab. it wasn’t cheap, but it solved the problem completely. last big rain came and not a drop went inside. the driveway looks great too, wide and even with clean edges. i can’t overstate how relieved i am not dragging wet boxes out of the garage anymore.

we thought a slab would crack fast in this clay soil. marco showed how they reinforced with rebar and added expansion joints. now the slab feels solid and we’re using it for our shed without worry.
