This guy took $80,000 and has yet to complete a 1973 Series 3 Land Rover that he started 4 years ago. And now I can't get him to reply to phone calls and emails. I'm not alone with this problem. At least two others have posted the same story at the Better Business Bureau. He goes along offering excuses for why it isn't done and then ghosts for months. I haven't heard from him since November and even then it was the same excuses. But really? 4 years?

I acquired an entry level 1994 300tdi 5 door station wagon Land Rover Defender from Bishop + Rook in the fall of 2020. I met Mike in 2018 and explained what I wanted to do with my Defender. He took almost three years finding the absolute perfect truck for me. An overlanding project that I could put my stamp all over and be a comfortable woman in the bush while remaining stylish. (He even put a rooftop tent on!) So far I have had two repairs with it. An axel shaft broke three days after I got it. It broke on a Sunday, I was fortunate enough that was a part in stock during covid. He sent them direct to me in four days and I had a local repair shop work with me to put them in. I was back on the road in less than a week. The second repair was an alternator that went out on a trip to Duluth.

Michael has taken $110k from me on my Defender build and has ghosted me, anyone that wants to figure this out and go after him please contact me, thanks.
