We had a new floor installed in our kindergarten by Black Hills flooring in december - January 2022-23. Soom after we noticed that in certain spots the glue was popping up between tiles. Ever since we keep calling Black Hills flooring and send them photos but nothing happens. First they said it must be water damage but this is not the case. You can smell amd see the glue, we told them before installing the floor the we have infloor heating but they said its fine with this floor, but the glue runs out even during the summer month. Definitifely an installation mistake. But our complaint is ignored to this day. Nobody ever came out to check on it. We paid a lot of money for this floor and are still calling and asking for some reaction or repairing services… so far no success. Definitively do

Josh Ballengee and Black Hills Flooring are top tier in the industry. My buddy Josh has advised me in the simplest repairs and lead me in the right direction....even when I didn't want to hear it. Ultimately, I have 2 Rottweilers, tearing up the house... My Flooring is still brand new....

Had an excellent experience all together with Black Hills Flooring. Walked in and met salesman Josh Ballange. He was professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the different carpet options. We have a small pet that likes to tinkle in the wrong places so Josh gave us several price options to help combat that. Also he came out in a timely manner to measure up our project and schedule our install. We had to reschedule carpet install due to unforeseen family circumstances. He was very accommodating and was able to reschedule install. Brian, our installer was very professional and courteous and did an excellent job. Black Hills Flooring turned a 180 square foot flooring job into an 8-month headache. Because this was an insurance claim, I believe they saw an opportunity to inflate costs. I was charged over $9,000 — nearly $50 per square foot — for a basic engineered hardwood installation. The flooring itself was around $15 to $16 per square foot. The rest went to "demo and floor prep" costs, including a supplemental quote that tried to justify $500 per hour in labor. When I pushed back, they still tried to move forward with a total cost close to $12,000. Midway through the project, my point of contact left the company, and no one followed up. I ended up spending my own time coordinating with another company just to get the job finished, including handling missing trim that was never addressed properl
