Black Knight Chimney installed a new fire insert and insulated chimney sleeve at my son’s house. They did a fantastic job, being polite, careful and professional in every way. It wasn’t too long from starting that they were showing us how to light the first fire in the new insert which looks just great. Despite the job being dirty in nature they did not make a mess , cleaning frequently and making this a non issue. We are so glad we went with Black Knight and would strongly recommend them as a most reliable and professional team.

I had Black Knight come and clean my chimney on Oct 1st. They cleaned going thru my wood burner and then went outside and put a extension ladder up to check from the top of the chimney. when the tech went up the ladder and came down the ladder he did not stop to check the outside of the chimney itself. He then came inside and proceeded to tell me that although the linings would need to be changed in the future, it was ok to burn in my wood burner. He then went out to his truck to call his boss and finish writing up my bill. When he came back in, he said he had bad news and that I couldn't burn in my wood burner because there was charring on the wood attached to the chimney (which he never stopped to look at). he told me that it would be very expensive to fix (FYI, they knew I was a widow).

I called Black Knight in November and scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and they were scheduling into January, but since several people had recommended them I figured it'd be worth the wait....and probably a good sign that they're so busy they have to schedule farther out, rather than being available the next day. I received a call the day before the appointment, and Shane reached out the day of the appointment letting me in now his ETA. Shane was prompt and courteous. He finished the cleaning in well under an hour and since my fireplace/chimney were in good shape he didn't try to upsell me on any additional services/products. Great experience and I'll be a returning customer for the next cleaning. Thank you!

I needed a wood burning stove and flu cleaned and inspected and I've seen the Black Knight vans driving around for years so I figured they would be a solid choice to start. The booking process was very easy. The price was reasonable for something so important to safety. Shawn and Brett were very thorough, clean, quick and took to the time to answer my questions. They clearly knew what they were doing and made the process very easy. Will definitely be using them each time I need this service again.

I waited over two months to get callbacks, even though they came out twice and continued to lead me on that they would call and come out again. I was very much lead on that they would be able to do my Chimney wish I had a fireplace I could use this winter, but I will find someone else.
