Blue Flame Heating & Cooling

Kirk from Blue Flame came out to house and quoted me for a new furnace and AC unit (old one 29 yrs). He spent an hour explaining thoroughly the new systems, along with the humidifier and recommended a new thermostat. Price very competitive with my three other quotes. A week later, Kaleb and Mondo showed up with the new systems. Very polite and great to talk to, they explained every detail I asked about. Mondo even took off his shoes since he was outside installing the AC unit in the grass, very respectful of the house. They spent about 10 hours non-stop installing. Afterwards, Kaleb installed the nest thermostat and walked me through the whole setup, if I had to set up myself it would have taken a while. Mondo also seen another minor issue not associated with the HVAC and he even repaired

The service was exemplary and the workers very courteous. The way the quickly came to my aid was very comforting when the temperature was frigid and my furnace went out. A few weeks later when I saw there was a problem, they quickly and efficiently came to my aid once again. I like to give them a rating higher than 4 but cannot give them a five because when their error caused my heating bill to go up more than an extra $125 they were not willing to accept the responsibility of the extra cost to me caused by their error.

Thursday night (coldest day) Jan 29th our furnace went out. Called Consumer Energy and they directed us to Blue Frame. Blue Frame came out Friday morning and inspected our furnace. Need a new furnace. On Monday Blue Flame (Kaleb and Mondo) installed our new furnace. They both were very informational, friendly, knowledgeable. They installed in a very timely matter. We both appreciated their fine job and cleaniness and will be recommending Blue Flame to family, friends and others. We have heat! Thank you!!!

First, I want to say thank you to Cody for all of your help with repairing my furnace!! I contacted Consumers Energy regarding an emergency situation with my furnace and they assigned this company to take care of my furnace issue. Blue flame heating and cooling promptly arrived and solved the problem. I needed some parts replaced and Cody took care of it! He is very informative, knowledgeable and professional. He came out a few times and it was a pleasure working with him. He went above and beyond! I’m truly grateful for the service I received, and I’m happy that my furnace is working great again! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…PLEASE READ!!! We have the consumers energy appliance protection plan and Blue Flame was the company that Oncourse Home Solutions sent out in October 2025. The Blue Flame technician stated that I had a cracked heat exchanger on my Lennox furnace that was purchased it 2014. He stated this after being down at the furnace for 10 minutes if that. After giving me this information he told me that consumers energy appliance plan doesn’t cover heat exchangers so they are deeming my furnace unrepairable. He went on to say the heat exchangers are so expensive that it wouldn’t be worth me getting it fixed that I would just need to get a new furnace.
