My husband and I met the team from Bordner Home Improvements at a recent home show while looking for options for a much‑needed siding project. We scheduled an appointment, and before the visit we even received a text with the name and photo of the representative coming to our home — such a thoughtful touch. Kevin was our representative, and he was fantastic from the moment he walked in. Respectful, friendly, and professional — he even removed his shoes without being asked. It honestly felt like a knowledgeable friend had stopped by to help us out. He took the time to get to know us, understand what we were hoping for, and learn what mattered most in choosing a company we could trust with our home. The windows installed are much higher quality than the ones I had before. However they were much smaller compared to the previous ones. The gap left between the two sizes was concerning, but the rep I spoke with after the install said they filled that in with insulation. The install crew did not speak English well, so I had to call afterwards to get answers to my questions, which was inconvenient. The first picture shows the windows before, the second, third, and fourth are the windows after. Overall I am satisfied as the trim will be painted anyway. I will say they are extremely pushy about leaving a review. I get more reviews are important, but three phone calls after the install asking for a review is excessive.

I definitely recommend Bordner to be your first call for home repair needs. My neighbor was having some work done on her roof and I ended up chatting with the dude she worked with, she had highly recommended Mic. He did a free inspection of my roof (only about 7 years old). He said we really only needed some caulking for some small gaps which he took care of for us on the spot! We will be replacing windows in the spring. We will for sure be calling Mic and going with Bordner for that project.

We met Kevin & the Bordner Home Improvement team at the KC Remodel & Garden Show - from the start they were welcoming, knowledgeable & genuinely helpful in answering our window questions. Scheduling an in-home appointment was easy & they were incredibly accommodating, even working with our schedule for a Friday night visit (which we truly appreciated). Kevin arrived right on time, which honestly stood out after two other appointments we scheduled from the show never showed up. From the moment he arrived, we felt comfortable. He was friendly, confident & clearly knew his stuff. He took the time to listen to our ideas, preferences & concerns, offered thoughtful suggestions & explained not just what would work, but why. There was absolutely no pressure, just honest guidance & helpful insight

We had our roof replaced by Bordner five years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Tyler was our inspector, and he did an outstanding job explaining everything clearly and answering all of our questions with patience and professionalism. Over the years, we’ve also had a few additional roof inspections with Tyler, and each time he has been thorough, knowledgeable, and reliable. We truly appreciate the excellent service he has consistently provided. Bordner is definitely our roofing company, and we highly recommend them to our family and friends!
