I have used Boscar twice so far. First experience was great. I had hung a chandelier and couldn't figure out the wiring in the attic to get the light to work. I called and they came within 4 days. Charged me less than a call out fee from other companies for less than 25 minutes of his time. Second experience (1/10/26) I called because the outlet connected to my dishwasher stopped working. Told the man over the phone that I replaced the outlet, checked two other outlets for loose wires and was at a loss. Guy over the phone said to check every outlet on that breaker.... Checked the outlet for the fridge (that was still working) and found the ground wire was touching the load wire that feeds into the dishwasher outlet. Save yourself the DRAMA. I was out of town for a concert and I thought to myself “girl if you got travel and concert money what upgrades can you do to the house?” I called these people even though I was out of town. I went with this particular company cause I had worked with a relative at Edible Arrangements. They said it would be 2 weeks and I said that’s fine I’m not even home now. They asked for my address which I didn’t think anything of but we didn’t set a date for 2 weeks out, they said they’d call next week. Well, the next morning 5 hours after I got back from my show I heard my mom talking about her plans for the basement to a man in the kitchen. I got dressed so fast and ran out!
