Mike came out to install a mini split in my home. He installed the unit with the drain line sloping up. He left quite the gap between the wall and the unit which is how I could see the line going up in the first place. He then zip tied the line on the other side of the wall going upwards!!! That’s 2 heavy slopes, upwards. The brand new unit is obviously not draining at all. I’m not an HVAC technician but I understand gravity and water will not flow upwards without a pump. There is no condensate pump in my unit. The unit came with a few feet of drain hose attached to the unit. This is the part that’s sloped upwards. I was assigned this company through American Home Shield. They do not answer phone calls. You have to converse purely through text. I wouldn't mind that if they actually arrived... Scheduled a week out for a Central AC/not cooling in the middle of summer in 80+ weather. They said 8-12.. No show.. Can't reach them via call of text. Had to get AHS involved for them to contact me. According to AHS they said they would be there by 3pm. Instead I got text messages that strung be along until 7pm... They told me I would have to wait another week for them to come out, despite them saying they would hold my spot, and that I should have AHS schedule another contractor. So pretty much wasted a week...

Boutetort Mechanical has been the most unreliable company we have ever dealt with. Initially, we thought they were great. Mike came and put Freon in our unit and we all thought the situation was resolved. It turned out it wasn’t, so we put in another work order for a follow up through our warranty company. This is where the problems began. After waiting patiently for two weeks, as we were told they were buried with emergency calls during a heat wave, I finally emailed to see if we could get on their schedule. No response. I emailed once a week for three weeks, just trying to get scheduled for them to look at it. No response. I finally sent a text and that received a response and an appointment was scheduled for a Thursday between 8-12. I was contacted that Monday telling me we needed to mo

They worked with my warranty provider to expedite my call due to us having a two week old baby and No AC on the hottest day of the year (that's when it always goes out, right?). Mike was out within 2 hours and had it running again in about an hour. Highly recommend them.

After having a lot of trouble getting someone to come service the AC in my home where my wedding would take place, home warranty dropped the ball. Assignments either were not followed up/communicated well or did not get there due to unforeseeable circumstances. Finally I received the reassignment for these guys. They proved to be reliable, knowledgeable and very polite. Would gladly work with them again.
