Beau, the owner, was extremely professional, communicative, and genuinely enthusiastic about our project—a unique, custom build that required precision and creativity. Everything was clearly explained, and I knew exactly what to expect. The craftsmanship from his crew was outstanding. Having worked in professional fabrication for over 30 years, I was genuinely impressed by their skill and attention to detail. We are extremely happy with our new deck that Boulder Decks created for us. Working with Beau (owner) was a pleasure - from the initial visit to the final handshake when the job was done. Most of the construction work was done by his carpenter Jose and he, too, was a delight to have at our house - I enjoyed our many conversations and appreciated watching him go about his work. Beau was receptive to new ideas and changes as those were identified well after the contract was signed and work had begun. Communication - mostly via text - was easy and responses to my inquires arrived in a timely manner. We were blessed to be referred to Beau when our deck needed replaced. We had, unfortunately, allowed both our front and back deck to get to a state of deep disrepair and it needed a full face lift. Beau was kind, helpful, and transparent through the entire process. I don't have much of an eye for home improvement and relied on his suggestions and expertise to point us in the right direction. Jose led the construction and had a meticulous eye for detail. There were areas around our new deck that needed sealing, uneven concrete slabs, and areas of rotten siding that he navigated without a hitch. I was lucky enough to use Boulder Decks several years ago to build a deck that covered the entire space behind my house. The experience was great in part because the owner Beau Harding was so attentive to detail and worked with me on the design. I enjoyed the deck and the experience so much, I asked him to come back and build another smaller deck on the side of my house. Again, Beau was very attentive and worked to create sensible smart designs. All the work was completed on time and he was great at managing my expectations.

Beau and his team at Boulder Decks are truly great and I would strongly recommend them. They are ethical, skilled, creative, problem solvers and were fairly priced for the job they completed for us and transparent about the way things were priced. The crew was a pleasure to have around while they were working, and Beau himself was responsive and involved all along the way. He runs a local business that takes pride in what they do and who really cares and wants his clients to be happy - which unfortunately is in contrast to some other contractors we've worked with. I have recommended Boulder Decks to friends and will continue to! We feel lucky to have had them build our complicated deck 2 level which is both solid and beautiful!
