Boulder Roofing

We needed a roof replacement after the last big wind storm. Boulder Roofing installed a metal roof for us. The price was fair and the whole process was quick and easy. It was a pleasure to work with Ryan on the estimate and Mike and Kyle did a great job installing the roof. They were meticulous with the install and the cleanup. I highly recommend Boulder Roofing and would use them again.

Dan responded quickly per my request to schedule an inspection of our ~20 year old asphalt shingle roof. It was agreed the roof was at end-of-life. We decided on a standing seam metal roof in powder coated matte bronze as the replacement. The quotation process was easy, even with some back-and-forth for changes as we aligned on materials, colors, new venting, etc.. Installation was scheduled. The whole process took 3 days including removal/disposal. I echo some other reviewers - that the crew was fully staffed, showed up on time each day, was very knowledgeable and skilled in the installation techniques for the materials, and additionally was extremely good about cleaning up - both throughout the day, and at the end of each day. Boulder Roofing is done by its employees; yes, you read that right! They are not just a contracting company that will have some random company perform the work. This distinction cannot be understated nor underestimated when hiring construction work. From start to finish, Ryan, Rod, and Alison made working with Boulder Roofing a pleasure. Definitely the right company, Boulder Roofing. Working with them was horrible. The owner has a bad temper. No respect for landscaping, Ruined the gutters and gutter guards, Broke the exhaust fan, cracked the sidewalk and patched it with something that fell off the first snow, on and on. I regret hiring them.

We had a different company (Endurance Roofers) come out initially to inspect a roof leak. They convinced me I needed a whole new roof. I believed it. I was ready to get started but wanted to get one more quote for a new roof from another company. Endurance roofing never found the exact leak but guessed the leak was from gutters and the soffit vents not working. We questioned their reasoning because we had new soffit vents installed five years ago Dan from Boulder Roofing came out today and found the source of the leak (an old solar water heater). Dan said we should just repair that spot instead. Of course he would love to sell me a new roof, but ethically he knew we just needed a repair because he knew what caused the leak. I’m grateful.
